Not that GOTY really means anything because it will just be given to the game that sold the most copies meaning Modern Warfare 2. I'll just throw out the idea of Batman: Arkham Asylum for GOTY out there...

I played FPS games competitively on the PC for almost 12 years so I have nothing against playing in clans but it seems the mentality of a big chunk of the MLG community is that of a 12 year old. This could also be that most of the MLG community is made up of kids around that age. The difference in competitive PC gaming vs console gaming is so huge that it is crazy.

I might get flamed for this but I almost think it is a ploy to try to get more people with both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 to pre-order the game for the PS3. I don't own a PS3 but I've always heard that the online community on multi-platform games is much much smaller than that of the Xbox 360.

The shooting, nade tossing always felt weird to me. It was like that in the first one and in 1942. It just doesn't feel right to me... just my opinion though.Childeater10

I agree with this too at least on the shooting front. This is my main gripe with the Battlefield series and why I can't really get into the games very much. It has improved slightly since Battlefield 1942 but it still doesn't feel right. I'm not huge into vehicle combat but I could look past it if they fixed the issues with the shooting mechanic.

Currently the only playlists that will allow party chat are 3rd Person Teams, FFA, and Merc TDM.

To be safe, either copy the save to a memory card or download a program called Xplorer360 and use the transfer cable with your PC and 120GB HDD and copy the save to your computer then copy it back once you've done the 20GB > 120GB transfer process.

I agree. The only thing I purchased was the eye patch and only because I had 50 MS Points left and I was never going to be able to use them on something. I think 40-80 MS Points on all clothing based items sounds fair and 160 MS Points for props. Unfrotunately, since people are still buying the overpriced items now, I don't think Microsoft would bother lowering the price even though I think they would sell 2x as much avatar gear if they slashed the prices.

Dirt 2 because after finally playing Forza 2 recently it is becoming incredibly boring having to do the same races over and over. With Forza 3 having like 200+ events (to Forza 2's 90 events), I'd never complete it. Plus I'd lean more towards arcade racing then simulators.

I'm sure it is... I remember this exact thread a few months ago although I think in the original thread that the OP was being serious, at least about pressing lots of buttons and purchasing Microsoft Points.
