I got an Intel i5-3570 with a nice heat pipe based cooler, what I notice is that during some specific games, the temp goes all the way up to 78C, (2600F) is it ok or should I be worried? The weird part is that a month ago I bought this new CPU and built it myself using the top quality thermal paste and my old buffalo CPU cooler

Yeah, like what the guy above said - Check out the mount. Make sure it's fitted securely.

Cyberdot
maybe the second CPU sensor that I mentioned above is the correct one? why do I have 2 CPUs in SpeedFan?

Bad mount? What's the ambient?

the room temp is about 28C if that is what you mean by asking about the ambient I also have 2 CPUs sensors in "SpeedFan", how do I know which one is the right one? The other one shows "max" temp during stress was 52C My cooler: http://www.hwreviewlabs.com/newsmaterial/evercool/hpfi7.jpg

Just watched that Rome 2 video today, and thought to myself, are they doing this all on 32 bit?  I imagine this type of game would be greatly beneffited by having more memory to page to.  Even if not, are 64 bit games coming our way in the next few years?  Games are finally starting to give up on XP...will 32 bit games be a thing of the past sometime soon?

64Bit platform is more in use for work such as programming and this sort of stuff. games are more dependent on GPU and not CPU so 32Bit is just fine

[QUOTE="OptiSTR"][QUOTE="vfibsux"]

The more I hear about this game the more excited I get. Article here.

$25 pledge gets you a copy of the game, 11 days to go!

vfibsux
why I cant find any in game footage?....

Because it isn't even in alpha yet. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter it is a way to get games funded to be made. You gotta have some faith and put up money if you want the game to become reality.

Yeah i know kickstarter, but his description of the game is a bit foggy, unlike let say Stat Citizen

[QUOTE="DanielDust"]The definition of owning =/= seeing it at a cousin or whoever he was and watching screenshots and complaints online.maddogmark25
Most people posting on Simcity.com do own it and can prove it through their Origin handle. The game is broken. The RCI model is broken. The Glassbox engine and the agents system is broken. The traffic system is broke. Sewage and garbage is broken. Emergency vehicles still don't respond properly. The freight system is broken. The game has so many limitations compared to its predecessors. This is all before I get into how always online is still broken. I've put over 50 hours into the game, so I can attest to all of these. The game is a flat out disaster, and is an obvious money grab.

I dont know what are you talking about, I own the game, never noticed anything of what you said (on the latest version). What I DO notice it that people all over are developing some weird hate towards this game because of DRM and a buggy lunch... As far as I see it, people are just pissed off because they cant pirate it. 99% of population around the globe today that uses internet, uses a 24\7 connection anyways so DRM is not a problem at all

Well, for me Steam is like a huge box full of toys. I bought so many games via Steam, and I just enjoy seeing my collection! AND people tend to forget that buying games on Steam, transfares money to Steam and to the developers ONLY, while buying games in a shop, gives your money away to publishers, shop owners, import taxation, and environmental pollution etc... So as for me, digital perches is the best way to enjoy games + There are tons of games that you cant find anywhere ales :)
