This game is far from being Skyrim.... The world is not like a sandbox type... sure you can go to here and there but there are path's that are sort of written for you to go through. So the left side of the mp where you start there are low level mobs, and there are ares which you cross and each area got different mobs designed for a specific level. Its more like a hack and slash diablo style sort of game
3 Things.... 1. Most of the forum hates the game because of its "always online" thing... 2. when people say "no", ask why, usually they dont have the answer 3. I have it, its a great game
Id like to eventually try out that Kurbal space sin game. It's only in alpha, but I hear its addicting as hell. Motokid6
I have it, its really fun but there is a small problem with it, in order to advance and explore distant planets you are forced to use complicated mathematics... like real life mathematics, where you have to calculate fuel, GForce (gravity), atmospheric conditions and other stuff which made me dizzy. And its far from fun when you find yourself spending 2 hours flying and landing on some distant planet just to find out that you dont have enough fuel to go back home... Also trajectory calculations always made me fail in finding my way back home... :[
Right now the best space sim games are the X-Series. "X3: Albion Prelude" is the latest one and X: Rebirth is currently in development.

it will take him a year to learn the way this game works... I spent months and months playing almost every day, by the time you have your first station and all happy about it, you then figure out how difficult the fleet management in the game is, you spend billions on making your fleet just to see it completely destroyed, equipped with the wrong weapons and then you loose 3 months time spent on making the fleet, and you have to start all over, just to find half your space stations destroyed by invading alien army most frustrating game EVER
