I believe it will also be available for the Wii U ... I only hope they do not make the game flakey like the last title. The last title was WAY to simple and mainly focused around CGI cut scenes. None-the-less the game looks nice.
I know many are waiting and anticipating its release date... Has anyone heard any news of it? I've watched a few dev blogs and game press conferences -- They mention the Summer, but never give any true date.
I wish they would have put more co-op inside the Single player Campaign and more functionality into closed LAN matches.
Either way though the multiplayer is far better than any other game I've played and I'm a big battlefield3 gamer, but even that doesn't come near to the replay value of Starhawk 's multiplayer. It is definitely worth keeping and will have continuous game life as far as the strategy and gameplay give the title.

When you have a choice, get the game on disk.
PS3 is built to texture stream off the disk, when you DL a game off PSN it can't do that.
Your framerate drop are from the HDD thrashing.
360 has similar problems I assure you.
Some games miss textures or audio cuts out when you install the game to disk, but not when you play off the DVD.
I don't think the PS3 was made to stream off the disc. I do believe that you have to install almost everygame because the read speed of the BR drive isn't fast enough. That's how it's been since 06.
Seriously -- you really think that? The Xbox360 EATS discs. Having by far the most, disc errors, recalls, refurbished, and returned... Not to forget the Xbox disc replacement program--that is told to purchase because of disc failure rate. Xbox eats discs... PS3 has the least amount of faulty discs, but it is actually the disc gets so hot in the Xbox and the Xbox begins to eat / scratch the disc continously.
Xfail eats discs and only a moron would say different.
I'm anxious to see what else the WiiU will feature.
Xbox sure depends on every other developer to get its sales though. Not to forget how, all the `new Xbox features will suck and you will have to pay for Gold account AND then you will have to pay for premium services on all of those new endorsements. Xbox didn't have a thing better than any console.
The PS3 has many top-knotch games and services. You can browse the web, watch videos on the PS3 without purchasing every small service. There is numerous games on the PS3 that will be 100% free. You do not get anything free as Xbox Live Gold Member. I could get a Playstation Plus and be given free games to play, every month.
It just makes me wonder if that is a Xbox Fan boy or just a suck up employee of gamespot. Either way, Halo4 was one game -- Out of all the other games that will be multiple platform, evenly, Ubisoft has demonstrated numerous epic titles.
As I said though... I hope Wii U devastates the Xbox 360.
LOL Yea right. That is the crytek engine though and Assasins Creed III looked better and you have not even seen Crysis 4(?) yet. Either way the maps are all close corridors and Halo 4 will be very linear, but you have one thing correct and ensure you say correct reason -- Crytek engine is one of the best game engines out there.
Usually I get pretty burned out of a video game after a play through, even in multiplayer -- I think Black Ops sucks, you would have to be a zombie to play the exact same thing over and over; doing the exact same objective; in the exact, same stage; in the exact, same way constantly.
In Starhawk though, I have to say -- I constantly want to replay that title. Game is truly one of a kind. Both strategic and fast paced. Numerous ways to defend or attack the other team. I find myself wondering... I wonder what it would be to just get on a jet bike and see how I chance up against the Ox tank.

I've played metroid since the very first Nintendo. The first person mode was great, but too slow. If they could put it back into the first person mode but adding more intuitive controls but keeping it fast paced it would be awesome.
