I doubt they ever would remake it. But if they did I'd probably play it... i played it back at its release but I didn't like the combat and had a lot of crashes.

Never tried to replay it because I still remember how buggy it was... a remake would probably be the only way I'd replay it.

It's aged horribly, I'm not sure how many people can actually play it and say its fun... it's gameplay felt pretty bad even back when it was released.

nice. i have most of them in the C&C First Decade collection. and the rest by themselves.

Its kinda hard replaying the original C&C game, its controls are so bad and some of the levels are just not fun... the ones wheere you can't even build anything.

There was a user made res changer for the original C&C game which really made the game easier cause you could see a lot more of the battlefield, almost cheating but made it more like modern rts games by being able to see a lot more.

im not sure how they can continue to lose this much money and stay competitive. everything from amd is slower and uses more power... you can't continue to make inferior products and expect to stay in business

even 4k is forever away for mainstream gaming. the terrible consoles can barely do 1080p at 30fps... probably have to wait until the next console generation for all games to start using even 4k textures. i read somewhere that 8k was the highest that tvs would reach for a while since its hard to see anything beyond that. 12k seems decades ahead.

even now satellite providers barely provide 1080p in their services, and the 1080p they do deliver is god awful compressed video. 4k will not take off very fast at this rate.

and also... when i think about it, the next gen consoles will be lucky to even do 1080p at 60 fps, so 4k is pretty much 2 generations from now

if games will continue to support being resold as used games a crappy company like this can exist. but if not, they really have no place with places like amazon offering much cheaper new games then gamestop ever does, with superior hassle free service (from my experience anyways).

Wish it was even close to that price in Canada

ya i hear you. I'm not exactly sure what happened but i got my 970 back in december 2014 for around 360 dollars, the same exact card is now 420-430 dollars. is our dollar really that worse or they just using that as an excuse to crank the price up beyond what the dollar really went down to.

anyways im glad i bought the 970 when i did or i'd be paying almost 70 dollars more for it now.

I think the DLC for most games are overpriced. Most DLC should be free and given as a reward to people who paid for the game.

I guess most games by themselves are probably priced fair... like some people said, even back in the early 90s you could sometimes see games for 60-70 dollars and with inflation that means games are actually less now. I think when i bought street fighter 2 on my snes it was around 80 dollars. But on the other side of things i remember many PC games being half the cost of console games, mostly because it was cheaper probably over the cartridge format the consoles used.

Probably Ultima 7, it was the first real PC game i got. but a close second would be Simcity on the snes, i looked forward to this game for months and when i got to play it, it was as good as i hoped.
