@nadsat-77: Think you had it bad with Oblivion? Try playing it for over 500 hours, and getting hit with the "abomb glitch"...TWICE!!! Yes...that's TWICE!!! First time was with the original version on 360, the second time, never imagining even for a moment that it would not be fixed, was with the GotY edition on 360. The icing on the cake? After emailing Bug-thesda with the problem, I was sent a reply that read: "Hello. This issue will not be fixed. There is a user-made fix available for the PC version, however." I finally bought the PC version a couple of years later and after running into it again, I gave it a shot and (thankfully) it worked.
I really like Windows 10, but here is a perfect example of the downside of it. Exactly what Tim Sweeney of Epic Games has been warning everyone about; a completely, Microsoft- controlled, environment. Also the reason I will always maintain a system with either Windows XP, or Windows 7 installed on it.
That last developer can't support what Luckey wants to do politically, without supporting the other developers doing what they want politically; namely, back lashing against him for being a conservative douchebag.
Yet another reason to never pre-order a game. Honestly, I just don't understand how anyone has time to play all the great games that are already available, complete and at a much lower price. Personally, between gog and steam, I already have more games than I will probably ever get around to playing, anyway.
Jeez...I'm excited about this game, too, but it's like Gamespot is having a "No Man's Sky-gasm". I mean, look at all the frickin' articles for crying out loud!
Welcome to the digital age people; where products you have already bought and paid for can be rendered unusable by multi-mega-million dollar corporations on a whim...with no refunds, or even so much as an apology.
Tim Sweeney is an incredibly talented individual...but sometimes I think he's just full of $#!+. I thought Unreal Engine 4, the very game engine Sweeney himself helped to create, was supposed to make game development super easy and super cheap.
Racism, like Donald Trump, thrives on publicity. I am so f#$%ing sick of "the race card". The terms "racist " and "A-hole" are synonymous. They both always have, and always will exist. Get over it, and get on with your lives. Please.
