Ridiculous. CDPR earned the respect of gamers years ago, by being one of, if not THE least greedy game developers out there. They made a mistake. So what. Get over it. The game is going to be incredible whenever it finally releases, and if it takes them some extra time to be sure of that, then so be it.
CDPR should take a cue from Id Software, who learned years ago to respond to questions of when a game would release by answering simply " When it's done."
Can't stand the whole idea of Game Pass; Netflix for games? No thank you. I want to buy, and own, my games on some form of physical media. The monetization of the gaming industry scares the hell out of me. What will it lead to? Prices staying high for longer? Renting certain individual games on a monthly basis? Could you imagine having to pay a monthly fee to rent a game like Skyrim or Fallout, with no option to buy the game outright, on top of your monthly Game Pass fee? All games becoming like Elder Scrolls Online, where there is a constant push to get you to spend real money on virtual items? If this is where the gaming industry is headed, I hope I'm no longer around to see it get to that point.
What the hell does everyone have against Epic, anyway? Never be able to understand the mindset of some people. Blind loyalty to a particular game launcher?! Come on. If I were going to do that, it would have to be GOG Galaxy, due to the fact that it works like a "Master Launcher", launching any game no matter what launcher it originally used.
Great. Another game developer selling out to China. Whatever happened to integrity? Doesn't anyone care that China is an oppressive, fascist, communist regime, and that the entire country is being sold out from under us? Guess everything takes a backseat, when it comes to money. Hell, we even turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia committing cold-blooded murder. But at least gas prices are cheaper, right? Pathetic.
