I cannot believe anyone would give this game an 8. Exactly how much did they pay you for it? i'm not one to go "uh you got paid for your reviews" but now... this is just terrible. it's an objectively bad game. it's 10 hours long single player with microtransactions. the AI is complete garbage. The level design is so bad you can just run through missions without actually shooting nazis. there are no checkpoints, no pausing, bullet sponge enemies that respawn so quickly in the very small open world that there's no reason to stand your ground and fight them if you don't have to. "8 out of 10" my ass.
Yes, i know. it's your opinion. however, if that's your honest opinion i really think your judgement is suspect and not worth my time to consult and if it's not your honest opinion (i.e. you got paid for it) then we really can't trust your words either way.
@manwithouthonor @Nzilla Samus has proven herself resourceful and tough with or without the suit. I would point to her wider library of games as evidence of this. She's a stone cold killer. Metroid fusion is a great example of this, samus is without her normal power armor and is weak and vulnerable, not to mention injured. She still fights back and regains her strength while being hunter the entire time by a being far more powerful than herself.
What? No Samus Aran? Ultimate female badass right there skipped right over, and she was blowing up space pirates WAY before lara croft was hopping around. A CRIME I SAY, I CRIME TO LEAVE HER OUT.
I love CGI trailers. Does no one remember how psyched up we got over the original starcraft's awesome trailer? CGI trailers just really get me in the mood for great games, and even if they game is shitty, hey look, awesome trailer to enjoy!
ahhh, the game of the year comments. where haters come to hate and fanboys love to fawn. seriously, have these people played even a third of these games they don't like? because just about every single one of them is awesome. way to express love for the hobby you supposedly enjoy, with searing unfounded criticism... i weep for humanity.
I like nintendo. I like their games, and i've been playing them since the NES days when i was a boy. Nintendo committed the cardinal sin of video games. They abandoned the hardcore players. The hardcore players dictate the trends. Casuals aren't going to buy a new console if they already have one they like. Hardcore gamers make the trends in the video game world. I already own a Wii U and i will continue to play nintendo games on it, but it'll probably take a back seat to the PS4 i plan to get at the end of the year. Nintendo has to step up their game or take the sega route and put their games on other consoles. Wouldn't mind seeing legend of zelda on a PS4.... At the end of the day i'm playing my 3DS and my PS3 more than i am my brand new WiiU, and that's a problem.
i'm a hardcore gamer and i have played every legend of zelda game ever made. i have no intention of missing one, or the other 1st party nintendo franchises i love. the low price point made it an easy buy for me, and it'll have a nice spot next to my new ps4 this december. full disclosure, i have a ps3, xbox 360, and the original wii all hooked up. picking sides is for fanboys.
