I think to counter all the cheezy joker costumes, I'll just go out as a guy with a bunch of foam around my mouth clenching a half empty bottle of sleep medication.
One time I had to pick up a girl, physically that is. For of course, she couldn't do it herself, with her feeble legs and all. The tradgedy is, her feeble legs did not coincide well with my lack of coordination and we both fell down a flight of stairs. It was terrible. From para to quadrapilegic, just like that. Luckily she broke my fall.
I hate to break it to you kid, but you're one of those kids who has everything paid for and taken care of by "mommy and daddy" that you don't even know how to fend for yourself. You'll likely end up having a fairly decent life, with lots of nice things that your parents will be happy to supply because they can afford them. You'll likely go to a nice school that they will pay for, because they don't want you to end up like one of "those people". Enjoy your freedom and comfort, you are blessed. You have money, you are better than people, enjoy it.
The reason is that an individual can handle the truth. But imagine if every little secret the government has ever hidden from everyone was suddenly blown open? There would be riots. I never said you as in you personally, I meant you as in the general public.
For all of those who think that you can handle the truth is, you can't. Thats why you have politicians and elected representatives who handle and hide it for you. So you can live in your shell, with your nice tv and sofa set, never worrying about what is going on outside. Because thats just it. Its outside, you're in. Don't worry about it. Ignorance truly is bliss.
Note even the wording has changed. It used to be "global warming" now its "global climate change". While small, it does invoke different ideas when the two are used. While I don't believe it to be man made, I do support the reduction of pollution. I say this because I come from an area of Canada that has one of the poorest air qualities. How? The pollution from the Ohio Valley travels through the jet stream, where its met by pollution from southern Ontario. Its then compressed into the bay, next to where I live. Where it is then joined by a nuclear plant, two pulp and paper mills, a coal fired generating station, and the larget single oil refinery in North America.
Causing it? No. Contributing. Yes. Pollution does need to be taken care of. But a "carbon tax" is not the answer by any means. Unless its a tax on big business, and big business only.
Hopefully I get it next week in time to play TNA iMPACT.
Man I sure hope I don't get a refurbished 360 or a old 360/my 360. Hopefully I get one of those Opus things or a brand new 360.
What do you guys think is my chance of getting a Opus?
Is there anyway for me to know if I got a refurbished 360, my 360, or a brand new 360?
Also I didn't tape any refrerence number on my box, because noone said to. They got it though and are repairing it according to Xbox.com. I live in Louisiana which is near MCallen, Texas.
