Overall quality and solidity and character design variety I'd choose Pokemon. I have liked some of the FF games (the SNES ones, and FF7) but I've never gotten attached to the characters (not even in 7) quite like I do in Pokemon games. My characters gets beat down in FF I'm like "bah, whatever" but have a Pokemon battle and a favourite gets KOed I'm pissed, haha. It's mostly about the characters to me, I'd choose the Pokemon roster of monsters over the FF characters.

I like to get the collections when they come out.. but... I MUCH prefer to play them on the original system, AND the type of TV they were meant for. Even though I have a huge HDTV I prefer to play my SNES and Genesis on my small regular, non-flat panel TV in my home office. It just feels better with the original controller and look of the game.

I keep all the cases and manuals and inserts mint. I will pass on used games for the current consoles if the case isn't at least in good shape. I store the disks in the cases and on the closed shelf inside our entertainment centre.

Depends entirely on the game. I start with default settings and if it gets frustrating I turn the difficulty down, if it's too easy I turn the difficulty up.

N64 era, but not limited to the N64 but when it came out until it died - everything that happened in that time was my favourite in gaming and I'll always remember it as the good ole days. Everything clicked for me then - it just felt right. I have always loved games but that era made me obsessed. From Mario 64's 3d experiences that made the world of games feel vast and infinite back then, to Goldeneye and the start of FPS multiplayer madness in the living room/bedrooms, to the explosion of the Pokemon franchise; it was an amazing time for gaming, especially for Nintendo.

After being in the military for some years and three deployments I'm not as fond of realistic war FPS games as I once was. I'd rather play something else most of the time. ...Those space aliens in Halo are gonna suck some lead though.

i never tip, and never will. waitresses/waiters get paid an hourly wage like everyone else. their getting paid to do it alreadyGamingVengeance
They don't usually make very much per hour. I am not quite certain how employers get away with it with the minimum wage laws but I know for here where I live they make about $2 an hour and have to get most of their money via tips to make it past minimum wage.

I have never voted for a single party. I will always look at each candidate independently and I don't care if they are Republican, Democrat, or anything else - I just care about what they stand for, plan to do, etc. You don't always have to "Pick a side" and cast a straight party vote. It doesn't make someone who doesn't vote for just one party's candidates undecided. It just means they separate the issues with the party politics. Whatever label that is I don't care but it's what I will always do. I don't agree with Democrats on everything, nor Republicans; but I'll pick the best candidates imo for the positions regardless of their affiliation.
