m17x will also run the option for dual m8800 GTXs in SLI. Good stuff, but more than $3000 most likely.

If I buy a Dell, it would be an XPS, that's settled.

Looking at the Sagers though, for the $1000 more I could get one that has 0.3ghz faster processor, 1 gig more of RAM, a bigger and better screen, and going from the 256mb GeForce 8600 GT to the 512mb 8800m GTX. $1000 is a big jump in price, either way. That would be adding another half of the Dell to itself.

Maybe I'll just wait for that new Alienware, see how that plays out. Like I said before, I have time.

I'm still saving, I should have enough by this summer. I might wait for the prices to drop considering the Dell is only about 2 months old. In regards to the Sager, I looked into it, it sounds great, however I'll have to do more research into it. I know I can trust Dell but I've never heard of Sager.

I've been looking at a variety of laptops recently, in so doing I came accross the new Dell XPS M1530. I wanted a laptop that was good for everything use (replace my old, crappy desktop) and for gaming. The specs look impressive, the price is right and I've read some good things about it all over the place.

Just looking for some input.

I'm surprised no one even gave a passing mention to Guild Wars... Though there's some debate over its true MMOness, it's still one of the most popular computer games ever. I've played it for almost two years, take breaks sometimes just to regain its novelty from tiem to time. I suggest you don't just ask us what the best MMO is because we all have bias. Just find the more mainstream MMOs and do your own research.

I like Halo 3 but... Well Mass Effect I don't know a lot on but will most probably be good, unless it turns out they did something weird that bugs me whenever I play it and I sell it or something. I don't know about GTA 4, in my opinion it doesn't target a wide enough "audience", even though GTAs are good they get old fast for me. And I'm betting that Halo 2 sold more than GTA VC or whichever, because SO many people like it and many more buy it just to try it out. Someone said 360 is the best selling next gen, it's not, if you consider Wii next gen then they are dominating 360 and PS3, I think they've sold almost as much or more than both combined lol. (I've never seen them in stock at any store and how many months has it been?)

It will clearly drop this year, we just don't know when yet. It would be foolish to drop the price only after 3 years or so, by then no one will be interested in the 360 any more. The reason Wii is doing so well is because they have a low price, since the Wii is beating both next gen consoles it's probably a good idea to drop the price soon.
