Wolrld at War is much better. No overpowered guns like M60 or M16, and the spam perk fragx3 was nerfed to 2. Tanks. Dog strikes are much more brutal then choppers. More customization...bayonets, three different primary grenades, flamethrower, more custom classes. Maps are more complex, lots of good hiding spaces, not as linear as cod4 maps. Atmosphere is far more engorossing in World at War. War is a decent new game type.

The game just feels more balanced, and that affects gameplay a lot.

The average commute in Tokyo is 45 minutes, one-way. What would you do if you had 1.5 hours of free time in a public place every day?

Dreamcast: Ahead of its time

Gamecube: Best graphics during its gen, best controller (wavebird), reputation was hurt by n64's struggles previous gen, and ps2's dvd ability sealed it off

Game Gear: Also ahead of its time. Graphics were far superior to the Gameboy

Jaguar: Had some good games but lost out due to bad Atari decisions (controller, bad/false marketing)

Saturn: The PS3 of its time

To echo what others have said, Metroids > all. Kinda tough to beat without Samus on your side.

These are the contenders:

NES: That system was very finicky. Sometimes you would have to do a raindance to get a game to play and if you nudged it, the game could freeze. But it was made a long time ago and they were a pioneer, so what do you expect?

PS2: I knew so many people that had a problem with it. My PS2 couldnt play cd-rom games. But otherwise it did hold up.

360: RROD is unlike what I've seen on other systems...if it happens, you can play ANY games. And even though they fix it for free, what happens when your 3-year warranty runs out?
