Why does everybody think intercoolers are the solution to heat!?!?! All they do is restrict air flow and heat up your PS3 more!

Didn't the PAL 60gb PS3's already use software emulation for PS2 games? Whilst the US PS3's had the emotion chip or whatever it was called.

Sony claims ps3 is 100X more powerful then ps2. A system only needs to be around 10 percent more powerful for an emulator

Respawn-d
Sony tried to make an emulator for PS2 games for non B/C systems, but the only successful one was in the 80GB PS3 (4 USB), and that only worked because it was half hardware half emulaton (didnt have EE (PS2 CPU) only GS (PS2 GPU). the 60GB and 20GB had the EE and GS, and used hardware, not emulation. They didnt release the unsuccessful emulator that they made for the slim/40GB/80GB (2USB)/120GB because it only was able to play 30% of all PS2 games

Im on the computer right now and I noticed that after making the fan fixed to 100% speed, the computer sped up a little, so that makes me think that it is the heat
