[QUOTE="Acenso"]I thought it was Next Gen Bussiness News

They said NPD is useless and while complimenting one of the Vgcharts saying it was quicker, more complete, and about the same accuracry. I forgot which one
Buff-McBlumpkin

Hahaha.

VG charts gets their NA numbers from NPD. Until they come out they make up the NA numbers using trends from previous months.

VG charts isn't a recognized organization or corporation, it's some some dude who takes all the numbers that different credible organizations compile (NPD, and the ones that keep track of weekly sales in Asia) and puts them all together.

NPD is North American numbers.

That's exactly what I just said.

"NA" as in North America.

Sorry man , I am really having trouble with my comprehension today. I blame it on being tired.

Imo , the only significant thing to happen in this "war" was the GTA timed loss . The only other games that make the fanboys cry a little bit were VF5 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

GS is slow with all content updates. They didn't update much at all yesterday. I normally go to other sites for my daily news.spidey008

What's the point of posting a review nearly a week before the game comes out?klabut
To one up your competitors and to try and look "better" so you can get more web hits or subscriptions.

[QUOTE="Nike_Air"][QUOTE="SemiMaster"][QUOTE="Nike_Air"]Doesn't really matter. We already went over this time and time again. The current supply is exceeding the current demand. Only the results matter.

SemiMaster

Fixed for accuracy.

Well , that is what i meant to imply by saying meeting demand.. But that doesn't mean some stores aren't completely sold out around this country. My 2 local EBs are sold out and the ones about a 40 min drive have around 15 each. Basically they are getting enough systems out there overall which is good thing. They are not "selling out" everywhere but only results matter.

I would conceed that some stores have sold out, yea. But in theory, such a revolutionary and awe inspiring miracle machine should be sold out EVERYWHERE. 'Cept it's not.

If the ps2 wasn't dominating like it is , the demand right now would be greater for the ps3. Most people realise that xbox and gamecube fans were in a different set of circumstances when their new systems hit. Give it time , gauge the monthly results from the NPDs to see how the ps3 is doing in reality. Demand will increase when people finish up ps2 and more ps3 games hit the channel.
