If memory serves me right Gears 2 only sold between 5-6 million. Resistance 1 (a PS3 launch game at that) sold from what I understand around 3 million. You honestly think LBP and R2 can't outsell Gears 2.....you sure about that?

Yep, according to VGchartz GeOW has sold 5.27 million and Resistance has sold 3.19 million. And Resistance actually sold more in Europe than GeOW did even though it was a launch title. There is no way on earth Gears 2 can outsell R 2 and LBP combined.

LBP sells 10mil, resistance sells 10mil, gears sells 21mil. or better yet, LBP sells 5mil, resistance sells 5mil gears sell 11mil. you see how its possible. just like its possible, for LBP to sell more then gears and resistance combined, and resistance to sell more then LBP and gears combined. there is a big difference between something thats not possible, and something that is unlikely.

1) When a game comes out that is available to both systems (i.e. Grand Theft Auto IV, NBA 2K9, Dead Space, etc.) which console version do you usually buy it for? Do you look through reviews to determine which platform the game plays better on?

2) Do you have a preference on which of the 2 systems you tend to favor a bit more? Any specific reasons why (i.e. better controller, easier interface, more online capacity, etc.)?

Sorry, couple more:

3) If you could rank from top to bottom (1 thru 5) preferably in regards to what feature is more important to you between determining which console to get the game for: Graphics, Load Times, Control, Online Community, or Exclusive Content (i.e. Soul Calibur IV - Vader for PS3, Yoda for 360)?

4) Scenario: A fighting game (let's just say Street Fighter IV) looks a tad bit crisper on the Xbox 360 and has a broader online community, but the control feels weaker compared to the PS3's more fighting game suited controller and the PS3 has generally faster loading times between battles (let's just say roughly 4-5 sec; think tower battles on Soul Calibur IV). What console would you rather get it for?

Xbox, better controller, online and achievements are FAR more satisfying then trophies. i will look at reviews for the SCORE of games, not what the better platform to play it on.

2)

Xbox again. it has a better everything you said, plus it has a larger and broad library. And achievements, believe me when i say, 50g 20g and 10g is better then gold silver and bronze, achievements are like a world wide competition, achievements alone can make you want to buy/rent a game(avatar is a prime example of this)

1.control

2.online

3.graphics

3DLC/EC

4.Load times

graphics and DLC have the same importance.

even though i have it for the 360, i think it would probably be better on the Ps3. Only because of the control.
