but yeah get ssbb along with anouther wiimote ive have wifi so i dont know anything about the ethernet cable

but some of the games ive like are: one piece unlimited adventure, super smash brothers brawl, mario kart wii has been fun but not the best one in the series but like i tell everyone rent the games before you buy it

but it all depends on what kind of gamer you are

Hm, never played a Zelda game? Definitely pick up Twilight Princess. Chances are you'll be blown away.

Metroid Prime 3 is a fantastic single-player game, if you've never played a Metroid I'd also consider this a must buy at some point.

Mario Kart is is a great multiplayer game, and a sure reason to connect your Wii online and grab an extra controller.

Sucks you're low on cash though

Hey fellow wii owners.

I just bought a wii about a week ago simply because i have never owned a nintendo console ever in my life (ive got some catching up to do, i know =] )
I got a wii with wii sports and super mario galaxy, which ive been enjoying ever since.
Iven been wanting to buy something for my wii lately, to expand its entertainment. thing is, i dont know what to buy. Heres what im thinking of:

--A game (perhaps zelda, since ive never played a zelda game before)

--A second wiimote (although i dont really have much multiplayer in the two games i have so far... could use one when SSBB hits EU though)

--An ethernet adapter (no, I dont have wireless, and i dont actually know if being online on the wii is any good. I could however use it to get wiiware and virtual console games...)

I know (most of) you guys in here are really nice, so im hoping some of you might add a comment to this matter. I am also a little short on cash, so i might only be able to get one of the above... (sigh)

its just that with all the talk about a new ds, perhaps theyll do the same with the wii... so perhaps its better to wait till e3 and see if they have any plans... then again, if they dont, id regret not buying it right now...

If you like Nintendo titles then you should get a Wii. If not, get a PlayStation 3.Kunlun

i already have a 360 though... so theres not really any change in getting a ps3

The thing is, that ive never owned a nintendo console before, so ive got a lot of catching up to do. i figured, that i might aswell get a wii, so i can play wii and gamecube games plus use the virtual console for all the oldies ^.^

Since E3 is coming up, who knows what plans nintendo has for its beloved wii? Perhaps they are to announce a newer version of it (with perhaps more space?)

I really want a wii, but is now the best time to get one?

I still dont really know what to get, but this certainly helped. I've never had a nintendo console before (only gameboys), and i noticed, that the ps3 does not have that many exclusives at all (except of course the obvious ones like mgs.... og how i wanna play that game :P)

I just got about enough money for a wii, and ive been going with the 360 for a while now, so i think i should get a new next gen console. But which one?

I have enough money for the wii, but if i trade some stuff in, i should be able to get a ps3 (im a really big mgs and ff fan btw)
I just think, that the ps3 is very alike the 360, where as the wii mixes things up a bit (and smg + ssb is very appealing to me). So i dont really know what to pick.

Dude, i was in the same boat as you at the end of last year. Ive had a 360 since launch and loved it, but had an opportunity to get a PS3 and did, and an i dont regret it one bit. Even just for the exclusives, its a great investment. You need to play games like Uncharted and Racthet and Clank, GT5: P, Warhawk etc. I admit, theres not a great deal of exclusives out for it so far. But just look at the lineup for this year. This is the perfect time to get one.

Cool man... im a huge fan of mgs and FF though, so i need the console some day anyways. Perhaps it is about time i go buy one.
