Gah this discussion has been an ongoing battle within my head so im just gonna put it out there :). Highly to me is 8.5 and up... maybe not for you tho. Has anyone noticed that the games that get awarded high scores are usually First person shooters? Umm... Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Bioshock, Unreal Tournament 3, Fear on PC, etc... Its as if lately in the past few years theres been a steady increase in First Person Shooters - "Oh look that FPS shooter got rated highly and sold many copies, lets make one and get rich like they did" The dangers of this increase of First Person shooters is that we may get amateur developers with ambitious visions making amateur games. Dont get me wrong, I love my first person shooters as i know many others do too, but what happens when the majority types of games out there are mainly FPS'. Couple this with FPS' being the main types of games that get high ratings and you'll have nothing but shelfs made up of .. you guessed it FPS'.. lol... i don't really know why i wrote this up... but i guess it was to open up some ideas :S... hmmm anyways, yea. I dont know about you, but i certainly dont want a future full of FPS'. When I buy a game I always hit up several review sites to see what they think of the game and judge for myself from there, and many of those games that they review turn out to be FPS'. Its a psychological effect it has on me i guess, going for games with high ratings >.

Damn, this sucks... Jeff was the only Editor that i truly agreed on about his reviews, if there was something wrong in gameplay, sound, graphics, etc he'd point it out... and i would see that crap game played at my friends house and he was correct...

Hold up, in terms of gaming...in gaming does the xbox 360 games support 720p? Don't you need a HDMI cable to show HD games 720p and up, i have a PS3 it uses an HDMI cable for HD gaming. I'm asking these HD questions because I want to get a 360 and have an HDTV, i dont want to end up getting a damaged upscaled image while gaming.

If this question has been answered can you direct me to a link if not then... I'm really confused if 360's games can be played in 720i/p or 1080i/p, please excuse my ignorance and nubness. From what i know is that the Component cables that the premium comes with supports 480p but why is it on the label of some games for example Gears of War (Pal) it says that it supports 720p. Please correct me for the incorrect things i may have said.. im keen to learn. Thanks.
