@vishisluv7 @NOscope42 @Morphine_OD @Royial20 @Anthrizacks @franzito first off, I said nothing in relation to the article, I merely pointed out my issue with an argument that peaked my interest; second, you prove my point by using your view of your own moral superiority to throw around as validation to your argument. you assume I agreed with Morphine_OD, which I did not state anything that indicated such views. and yet, you lump everyone you see as threatening your opinion as if you must prove that you are a good person, a better person then anyone else. you do this with such vigor, that you fail to see your lack of understanding from others point of view. your last attack on me, shows the same ignorance you accuse everyone else of having. you mention I should meet Morphine and carve a swastika in my arm, just as you finish carving a cross in yours. nicely done sir!
@vishisluv7 @Morphine_OD @Royial20 @Anthrizacks @franzito I read the whole spread of comments in this argument, and I can't help but notice that people who don't post some fluffy like: Awww, I feel for you, or your so brave, are condemned as angry or unable to understand another persons position, then when he defends his point of view, you bash him for being exactly what he called you out on? its like everyone is trying to prove that they are better people then Morphine_OD, by assuming the role of what you assume is a humanistic oriented person, and anyone who would contradict Carolyn's view is automatically a bad person? because they were not sympathetic?
from a third party view vishisluv7, royial20, anthrizacks, and fanzito, you guys kind of just proved his point about being idiots, you missed his point by a mile, and he had to defend his views, and you used that as validation that you were right, like idiots.
I like how they are not focusing on graphics as heavily as everyone else. It wasn't until the last couple of years that my PS3 games started coming out in 1080i. I always hate the arguments with people who want mature games, or bad @$$ graphics. These statements seem like hypocrisies fulfilling the speakers fantasies. Mature video games is an oxymoron in my opinion. think experiences are better then graphics, I loved my wii (and hate it), but third party does not want innovation, they want quick easy blockbusters (F U EA!), and programming for unique control designs in not in the budget for CoD or MoH! The wii only suffered latter on due to third party garbage. I think the Wii U will be fun and interesting, I just hope developers see it as that as well.
@evil-zodiark I don't know,I enjoyed every game on my wii, all 8 of them (all first party really lol), but mario galaxy 2 is probably one of the best games out this generation, it was just too much fun! third party was a huge fail though, no questions about that.
@thegroveman at my game-stop Nintendo is, and has been littered with titles on the used wall. but GS doesn't drop because Nintendo doesn't drop, Zelda TP was up there FOR EVER! and I remember when it first dropped, it took like 4 years. It also doesn't help that their is no competition from third party developers, only games I have for Wii are all first party.
I waited for a couple of months, almost a year, then started buying games that were 20 bucks. I bought new because game-stop only sells used for 17.99 at that point. being behind the curve is so nice! The only time I agree to buy day one (anything) is if strong multiplayer is the reason you want it. I also wait for game of the year editions, why pay 130 dollars (including all DLC, you got me dragon age origins! and F'ing capcom for SFIV) when it will be 49.99 in a year? I do this, because I have lost faith in the developers, and absolutely despise the distributors. Also, there are so many untouched games, I don't know where to start, and the HD collections are making it even better (only had gamecube in previous gen) I'm living it up, and cheap! I never understood the day one need (for anything really), but I'd recommend this approach, and without game-stop, I can't do this, best buy and target don't drop prices according to trends, just their stock levels, and once its gone its gone. I love/hate game-stop, but they are doing nothing wrong for greedy developers.
@OdinssonThor you do realize that it is 4 million copies between witcher 1 and 2 from 2007 till now, they are not sold at full price any more are they? Your logic is poor, almost like you are defending the fact that you obtained your copy illegally?
@LtReviews yeah, I get all that, I just don't see the character being treated any different if it were a male in Other M, that's why I find it hard to see the sexism. I still see a male character being treated as a child in the circumstances of Other M. plenty of male characters in military outfits, who aren't military themselves are put into lock down with capabilities, this was not the first game to do the "I'll let you use stuff when I say you can." so why is it now sexist? that's all I'm curious about.
