I think I've narrowed it down to either: NES/SNES or Dreamcast.

No gamestop here in Belgium buddy, the only way to find consoles older than PS2 here in Belgium is to go on online second-hand websites where people can advertise.

But I really don't want to be frustrated by the level of difficulty.

Oh yeah I had all the Crash Bandicoot games on the PS1, I'm so mad at myself for selling my PS1!

I even had FF7! This alone sells for 40 euro's now, while I sold my whole system + like 12 games for 40 euro's...

Ah well, the SNES seems number one right now, will look into dreamcast, since I sincerely enjoyed the Sega Master System we had back then I assume Sega is a good company :)

Also thanks that some people actually READ my question instead of just saying stuff.

I'm gonna pass on the PS2 since I want something old :)

I'm leaning towards dreamcast/snes right now, but I'll go check out what I can find games best for.

I live in Belgium and well gaming sucks here!

In America you can still buy original xbox games and GBA games in stores but here they've been away since 2005!

Hello there!

I've been lurking around these forums for a while and decided to go make an account.

Here's my story:

I'm interested in getting a legacy console for my birthday, considering the earliest memory I have is of a Sega Mastersystem when I was about 2 years old.

Then I got a gameboy color (still have it and still works), after that I got a playstation and after that an Xbox.

As you see I have missed out on A LOT!

I'm asking you which legacy console you recommend me, anything of PLaystation and older.

I don't care about the graphics :)

Also you might wanna know that I'm looking for a console that's not too hard, it can be challenging but not impossible!

As reference as to what I find hard: I find GTA: Vice City challenging, I find Halo: CE campaign challenging, so I'm not a wonderkid.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy one yet but I'm interested.

Please also state why you recommend it and some games along with it.
