On second thoughts, having a dozen opposition snipers running around the map maybe cranky inducing though...

Sniper update, this will be good.

Playing Medic, heavy and scout did nothing for me. The pyro was a bit of a blast though.

To the OP,

Mate, sorry to hear you got screwed with Ubisoft, as far as support goes these asshats are totally useless. Expect a response up to and including something akin to "Sorry we don't support Window's Vista" or some alternate garbage. System requirements are also poor compared to titles produced by other developers.

I got burned a while back with Vista and Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood. Got it working thanks to user responses involving a workaround on the GS forums. In all honesty the quality of the Clancy titles they are churning out now is **** poor. I had a feeling EndWar would end up this way. Shame really, as I'm a huge fan of Clancy.

Ubi, Give the license to a decent producer. Your products and support are trash.

I'm with the OP on this. Modern Warfare is king of the hill.

The storyline for World at War, chopped 'n chased around the place leading to a lack of continuity and character depth. Overall World at War is not a bad game, but it seems to rest on the laurels of the imported Modern Warfare engine. I found the multiplayer maps for MW had a better design and the action seemed to feel more natural.

Battlefield: Bad Company can't be played co-op throughout the single player campaign. In itself, the game is pretty entertaining and quite funny. Multiplayer would be the real selling point.

Gears of War may be a better option for Co-op. I've also heard Fable 2 can be played Co-op throughout the campaign though someone will need to confirm this.

For setting a benchmark, WOW.

Each title had quite some strong points for it's time though.

Runs fine on Vista.

ONE issue to be aware of for Sound Blaster users is that Environmental and Surround effects will not work in Vista unless you are using a program like Creative Alchemy as Vista uses OpenAL and not EAX. If you are running stock sound card, this will more than likely be irrelevant though.

For the Record, all Blizzard games work on Vista, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, Warcraft II:BNE, Starcraft and Diablo included.

I remember the barbarian class from several years ago.

I can suggest to have at least ONE point in leap. Generally choosing a specific skill tree and putting the majority of your points into that is the way to go. Some skills in the other trees can sometimes supplement your character build. Just try not to spread your points to far and thin. With the barbarian you do have the option of focusing on a weapon/shield setup or dual wield. The talents you choose should compliment your hack 'n slash style.

As for me, I ran through the game with the Amazon. Used Spears and Javelins and had a Valkyrie to make the melee fights easier. Good luck with your character, awesome time to start Diablo II, get you all pumped for Diablo III later on!

OMG Mudcaked's head is going to explode as decision making applications for this question have overloaded Mudcaked's brains...

Don't make me choose between these two!

Keep in mind you can use the forums through www.worldofwarcraft.com however you will find the gamespot forums tend to have fewer trolls and your more likely to get a sensible answer as is listed above by another user.

For all other questions in regards to the game www.thottbot.com is also an invaluable tool when questing and looking for just about anything, drop rates, locations etc.
