I don't feel they're necessarily easy, but I find that video games just suck these days, and with each year they're getting worse and worse. My Wii and PS3 just collect dust now, and my Xbox 360 serves as nothing besides a media box that streams from my computer. It's really sad, because all this power just going to waste.

Games used to have great replay value, amazing gameplay, and compelling stories. Now developers just throw **** togeother to get a quick buck in their pocket. I've yet to play a game in the last 10 years that hit me like Metal Gear Solid 2 did. I've played maybe 3 decent games in the last 3 years. It's just awful, because I love games, but the direction games are going in just suck. BTW, it's a miracle to see a game that has a campaign longer than 6 hours these days.

I remember when games had an epic 20-40 hour story, now there's not even a handful of games that even have a campaign longer than 10 hours. Really sad.

[QUOTE="speedfreak48t5p"]Hell yeah! I agree with all of that 100%. Don't hesitate for a minute. I've been obsessed with this game for months. Love it.RoflCopteryy
Good to know people are enjoying it. I think I'll be getting it, even after Gears of war 2 was an utter failure.

If you didn't like Gears of War 2 multiplayer Gears of War 3 isn't going to change your mind. It's worth playing for Horde mode and co-op campaign, though. It's basically Gears of War 2 multiplayer with dedicated servers. Still expect to only use a shotgun and run around each other in circles while blindfiring your shotgun - that has never been fixed, and never will, which is disappointing because Gears of War 3 has so much potential.

Thanks. I'll have to try these out.

Any others come to mind? They don't necessarily have to be puzzlers, just have a great story. :)

There really is no such thing as the "most powerful console". I don't care what anyone says, they don't exist. They all accel in their own way. Some games the PS3 appears to be the powerhouse this generation, other games the Xbox 360 seems to have the most power, and hell, some Wii games are just downright sexy.

The same thing goes for last generation. Sometimes I felt the PS2 was the most powerful, then other times I thought the Xbox was, but I went back to playing my GC and I'm amazed at how amazing some of these games look, especially Twilight Princess and Resident Evil Remake, and even Resident Evil 0.

I'm a gamer. I like them all, and I feel they all have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Hello guys and gals,

It has been a long time since I have touched my Gamecube, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on some great story driven Gamecube games? Primarily what I'm looking for are games with a great story with twists and of course, puzzles are always a plus!

Thanks!

if you prefer the art direction in Resistance over Gears, then fine, but that doesn't make it better. Both games look phenominal on their own level. Resistance has a more colorful presentation, where Gears has a more photorealistic presentation.

And to say that Resistance 2 does much more in graphics and scale is far bigger tells me you have no knowledge and education on Unreal Engine 3, and also tells me you have not played Gears 2.

Now, please, for the love of sanity, shut the **** up and go play whichever one you prefer.

It's fine to say you prefer the look of Resistance, but on a technical level Gears 2 is better.

R2 does much more in graphics and scale is far bigger.

I love watching these teenie console wars. They more more entertaining than playing the actual games and watching 10 wretches explode in a shower of guts and blood.
