in buying a monitor, is higher contrast ratio more important or higher display color?

the first monitor has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 with 16.2 million display colors. also, it has a WSXGA+ display type.
the second monitor has a contrast ratio of 800:1 with 16.7 million dis play colors. also, it has a WSXGA display type and the monitor is Glare HD (HDCP) (what does Glare HD mean anyways?)

which seems to be the better choice here? should i go with monitor with higher contrast ratio or higher display colors. price are virtually same for both monitors. i would greatly appreciate your help:)

what game do you think has the coolest or best looking cover? for me, i think Lost Planet looks the best. Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, and many other games have cool looking covers, but i like Lost Planet's cover the best:P

i especially like the gun:)

i don't play games that much and i only have 4 games. out of the games i own, i think i spent my time on NBA 2K7 the most.

i have NBA 2K7, Gears of War, GRAW, and NCAA Football 07 (used to have Call of Duty 2, but i returned it)

so i shouldn't even consider buying a X2Gen monitor?
