In a sense I think you sorta did, but then agian since the Wii is so hard to get it is sorta "iffy". I am glad I have my Wii particularly because of how hard it is to obtain, but yes it has few or nothing to play. This holiday season we get a couple good games and hopefullly at E3 they announce a good number of games to arrive in 2008.

I agree that it is rather hard or near impossible for anyone to be satisifed with the Wii alone. As you said, many franchises/developers are moving on with the 360/PS3, whlie at the same time these same developers are appreciating the Wii and using what it brought for them in other ways. *points at Soul Calibar Legacy*. But yah, the Wii is'n't a "serious gamer" console, it is more for Nintendo fans/fanboys, non-gamers, and all-in-all those fun quirky titles. But I think some of the spin-offs of established franchises would do very well.

Listen, you have a point that these sales won't necessarily mean the Wii will have a higher quality library, much like the DS and PS2 in fact it'll have mediocre crappy games of a higher percentage then the competition. The PS2 has a LOT of mediocre/crappy games, but it did well didn't it? The DS is doing well as well and has a LOT of crappy games (such as puzzles, sims, movie-based) right? The way I see it, the more money NIntendo makes the more money they have to offer to developers and use for themselves to make great games. Is this a bad thing though? I really don't think so because I won't be getting those games, but other people will and yes I am about to mention sales, but they are a good thing

the ps3 could die off in a year and it would still have a much better list of games to play then the wii will EVER get.

Ha ha

honestly don't understand why fanboys here care so much about sales. I mean, if you own a console, why should you care about how well it's selling?

Here is the deal, if your console sells well then the company that produces it will do well. Companies need money in order to create new accessories/peripheals, make deals, and also these sales will catch the attention of developers and the chances are you'll get some good games on your console along with exclusives.

I don't think that'll ever happen. Nintendo is trying to get sales, so they are bringing popular/decent games to the VC. Superman 64 though wouldn't sell very much I imagine.

Dood, you don't have a girlfriend. You are talking about advanced Physics and HDR lighting and bump mapping on system wars, debating video game consoles. Those types of dudes do not make good boyfriend material

Stereotyping is fun, right?

First of all, Soul Calibur IS very much about graphics aswell as gameplay.

Elaborate, don't just state it.

Secondly, "Chronicles of the sword" is what made Soul Calibur III not as good as 2, 1.

How does a new feature make a game not as good as the previous ones? It didn't replace anything and you weren't forced to play it, it is an improvement only. Therefore, it is superior to SCII and I.

Soul Calibur 3 btw had some of the best graphics on PS2 and looked better than SCII.

Why did you add this? It was ONLY on the PS2. :/

Some of the replys here are disappointing. :/ Soul Calibar series was never about having the "Best graphics" if I recall correctly, if you are a Soul Calibar fan it is much more then that and this Legends game should be a wetdream for you. My brother loves Soul Calibar and he mostly plays the "Conquest" or whatever that story mode is, which is why he plays SCIII everyday. I admit they should step up the graphics because to me it looks like it is still Gamecube-esque graphics but they have plenty of time to work on that. Frankly though I rather they work on the content, gameplay, etc before the graphics. Those are more important.

I agree that Microsoft has not justified paying $60 for their games when they are on an inexpensive format, even further they should drop the Platinum Hits titles to $24.99 to match the original Xbox's $19.99 on Platinum Hits titles. $29.99 is still a bit much.

I don't think many people care because from experience, handheld versions of major console games are literally the retarded step-brother. I sometimes wonder why anyone even buy them unless they don't have the main console, which in fact instead of spending money on these games I say they should be saving it up for the major consoles.
