@CyberOcelot you realize mikami and this team left capcom After resident evil 4? meaning re games after 4 were shit because he had NOTHING to do with them. He explains how he is bringing back real survival horror with this new franchise.

This game is great, and I'm pretty sure 'Backtracking' was part of the 3DS version, which got an 8.5. They picked the wrong reviewer to review this one in my opinion. Not at all implying that she is a bad reviewer. The RE franchise just might not be part of her past.

@ewjiml Switch the 'controls' in the pause menu to Classic. Then, you have the same controls as RE4.

@Rickystickyman aren't most of these games you mention PC only? I think he is trying to bring 'Survival Horror' back to it's roots, and on Console's!

GOW 3 was better, this game was cool, but I didn't like the change in formula like the R2 not appearing for prompts that were easy to miss, and the the story was very short, great game but kind of a tease with some flaws.. I'm gonna go play GOW2 again.. Pow!

It's simple, after RE4 the creator of the series left.. and so did the survival horror aspect of the series along with him.

After RE4 they might as well have renamed the serioes Resident Ops, since it's all about COD developers are competing with and decided to end the 'survival horror' aspect of the series which kind of killed my interest in the re games after 4.
