I've had various science teachers, who have done the following:

  • Various alkali metals in water
  • Large chunks of alkali metals into the school pond (resulting in at least a 1m high water explosion)
  • Burning a baloon full of hydrogen
  • Been unsure of how to operate a large cylinder of hydrogen, and resorting turning the dials randomly
  • Lighting a match when there is a chance that the reaction has filled the room with hydrogen
  • Burning magnesium (that's tame)

There's more, but I can't remember everything.

Lol yes I do, anyways I want to know what kind of program I would need to make 3d animated images. If nobody knows its fine.SonicGamer288

First, make yourself clearer. Nobody seems to know what you want.

I'm too lazy to link, so just Google them:

Blender (free but some find it hard to learn)

Anim8tor (free but basic)

Maya ($$$ you'll be working for years before you can afford this)

3DS Max ($$$ same as Maya)

Cinema 4D ($$)

There's way more than that, just look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_computer_graphics_software

And no matter what program you choose, you should realize that you will not be able to create Pixar-like animations overnight. Like most things, it takes time to learn the skills required.

Only 5hrs of 10/10/10 left here.

I watched as my clock changed to 10:10:10AM Sunday October 10 and I must say, it wasn't terribly exciting.

Sadly, my auto-screenshot-script skills were not good enough to capture the moment:

Thoughts/feedback on my sig?

It's not related to anything, I just made it 'cause I was bored (and pixels are the source of awesome).

The jetpack they show in the video is real though: http://www.martinjetpack.com/ It's being made by a company down here in New Zealand. And it does cost $100,000
