As much as im looking forward to Battlefield 3, the one thing that disapoints me is the co-op missions. They look bland, but who knows, they could turn out to be a blast.

But once i beat them, im not sure if ill want to play them again.

However, modes like COD Zombies, and GOW Horde 2.0 have nearly infinite replay value.

DO many of you out there actually prefer a co op campaign to a co op survival mode?

I cant think of one situation where a wave based mode hasnt been better than a similiar mission mode.

So if i get the year subscrition right now with the three months free, does that mean i can play Wipeout HD for the next 15 months? Or does it expire when the next free game is announced?

Hey everyone, i have a situation, and i thought i would check here for some advice.

Im a gamer, and my girlfriend isnt. She told me that she just doesnt "Get" games. I tried to explain to her that its just another form of entertainment, etc, etc. I got her to agree that she will play one game from start to finish.

Im trying to think of one good game that will leave a good impression on her. I want one that will show off itself as an interactive storytelling experience, but is also fun.

Some ideas i had were maybe mass effect, one of the metal gear solid games, maybe even bioshock.

ANy ideas for what game should be the leader in convincing my girlfriend that gaming isnt just mindless entertainment?

Thanks
