In case you didn't know, Unreal Tournament 3 was the first game that I can recall that allowed you to download mods on consoles (PS3 only). I still don't understand why this simple feature didn't catch on during the seventh console generation.
For me, the FPS genre had reached its apex back in '05 when Monolith Productions' F.E.A.R. was released. That game forever changed the way I would perceive gunplay, firefights, and AI. In fact, I have yet to see another shooter that captures the same level of intensity and dynamism as F.E.A.R.
@factory_666: That's the same feeling I got when I watched the trailer. The original had such a unique art style and tone, and it's a shame that Sega resorted to a more generic-looking aesthetic with Azure Revolution.
