So? Past trends will only do so much for a prediction... It's likely the hardware will drop in price once the manufacturing process becomes better, and it also becomes cheaper to purchase the parts.

Hell yeah. I even bought a usb Saturn pad for my PS3 when SF4 came out. Still though, the SNES is one of my favorite consoles of all time. It has a great library of games that I still find fun today.
