I mean wasn't the PS2 harder to develop for (and therefore I assume more expensive) than the Xbox and the Gamecube? And it still got all the shovelware imaginable because it's install base was so huge.
I'm sure if the 3DS becomes a hit, which I'm sure it will, then those developers will still put shovelware on it.

If that's true then the Sega Saturn would have lived if Walmart had just carried the games for it in their stores.
