Well i've decided to start looking for a new RTS/Strategy game since the last few years ive been unsuccessful on this hunt. Ive tried numerous games and i have yet to find something I like. I always played Warcraft 3 TFT in large amounts and I could never get away from it. Seems like they really hit it on the head with the game. And thats exactly what im looking for in another RTS/Strategy game. Most of the games content and such seem perfectly fine. But I'm a HUGE online gamer and thats whats really lacking it seems with most of todays RTS's. A lot of them, their communities are lacking. they only have around 1-2k people online if that. I remember DOW and all the expansions didnt have more then 3-500 people on. WC3 on the other hand when it was big had 20-30k people on at once and the community was very immense, and even now they have a constant 10k people online. The other thing im looking for on top of a larger community is something to keep people online. I notice some games basically give you an online name and call it a day. No ranking system, clan or guild systems. icon or badges. Nothing to work with or twords which also probably kills the community and fun factor of RTS online gaming. So overall thats basically what i'm looking for are possible suggestion of RTS's that have a larger community with good online gaming that isnt a killjoy but has ranks and clans an such. or something alike
Any suggestions Welcome. Thanks Guy's!
So yeah the topic says it all. I have a Element FLX-2210 HD LCD TV with composite,1 HDMI input. and your other basic stuff. My receiver is a Samsung HT-X50 Home Theatre system. It too has a HDMI output and a Optical output which everyone is gonna say use but i don't have the cable at the moment and i cant get one til Friday so I'm looking to still do surround sound with the best video quality for now if I can. Right now I have the HDMI cable from the PS3 too the TV and the composite red and white cables from the ps3 too the Receiver. What are my other options too get surround sound or at-least more then 3 speakers working without the optical cable?
Thanks guys,
Mike
