Yea I actually want to get a gaming PC. But again they are much more expensive than PS3s. Good gamind rigs go into the thousands. The benefit is that most games that come out for the PS3 and/or Xbox 360 usually end up on the PC.
Yea, I already knew about the MMOs. I think I mentioned it in the first post. But I did not know that Guild Wars was free. If it is free how does the game work? Are there any moderators or servers?

You can still play them for free online with a basic membership. But you have to pay in order to play against console players and to use some other features.
Sorry I don't fully understand you. But what I'm getting is that you can play other PC members for free on the basic plan, but to play other console users you have to pay.

My friend who owns a PS3 told me that online gaming for the PS3 is free. I had a hard time believing him since 1. He is a Sony fanboy 2. His father pays for everything so maybe he just thinks it is free and 3. It is hard for me to believe that anything is free, especially in America.
