So... I can't change the games downloaded to my hard drive back and forth while waiting for something? Well, that's stupid. I was actually looking forward to that...

Here's the issue, on Xbox, Township PvP no longer exists. Though since there was recently a sale on Artorias Abyss it may have some revived life. Also it did only come out last year on PC, yes? Also, everyone on PC has Artorias Abyss, so that also contributes to the community still being alive.

It certainly will be niche once most people have moved on to next-gen consoles. This fame will die a swift and painful death if it doesn't make its way to next-gen. I love Dark Souls as much as the next guy, but I really don't think I'll bed spending $60 on a last-gen game and hauling out my old 360 to play it.

The community has kind of died as of late. I mean, there are still douchebags like Darkwraiths invading low-level worlds, but there aren't many of the others covenants. The Dragon covenant is completely dead now, and the Blades of the Dark Moon are broken.

Honestly, I think they've been BSing us about no next-gen release especially if it s coming out in March of next year. Simply put, it would be absolute suicide to release it 4-5 months past the release of next gen consoles. Haven't other developers done stuff like this? Remember Bioware, with Mass Effect on the PS3? Saying that it would NEVER come to PlayStation, and yet it was announced for PS3 only a few months later.

Totally agree with this review. I enjoy the game, but it's buggy, laggy, lacking any real or refined storyline, and at times boring because of the awfully static world.

Like I said, I enjoy the game, but it's hardly worth more than a 7.5 and I think that it is deserving of low scores.

Definitely. A game like Defiance, despite it's many flaws, could have much higher scores had it actually tried with its story. An example of a game's story making it amazing, even with lackluster gameplay, is Mass Effect 1, which is still may people's favorite game in the series.

This makes me quite happy. While I have spent a good amount of time in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I always found the world to be a bit... Charmless.

I'm always good with something new, but I hope that the next big open world game to come out of Bethesda is another Elder Scrolls. I just really love that universe.
