Does this mean Gamespot will finally mention microtransactions as a negative in their reviews? Because they never mention them in any game even when it interferes with gameplay, at least they didn't mention them before Battlefront 2.

@RSM-HQ: There is asking too much and then there is being completely inept like FromSoftware with DS1 on PC, wasn't the mod you mentioned, DSfix, the one that got released like within hours after the release of the game even though it was done by one guy?

@nadsat-77: They are doing it because everybody else is rightly attacking EA, I just wish gamespot had the backbone in the past to call out games on their BS with DLC/microtransactions.

@makimaki: Really? I guess you like paying 60 dollars and then on top of that have microtransactions that affect gameplay + a progression system that is pretty much RNG based?

@Toews1987: To my knowledge 2k18 did not have RNG as its only means of progression.
