What shakes me is the lack of one sound, unifying, globally accepted fact for going to war against Iraq. Al Queda? **** yes. Eradicate them. But Iraq? a government? Saddam all of a sudden? Suddenly Iraq is the threat, with the yellow cake uranium, and undeniable proof from Cheney, which turned out to be quite deniable? There's a gap in logic. I'm sure if Saddam was still in place, he wouldn't be helping matters, but after the lies and claims of WMD, this can't be the justification behind it all. Was it bad intelligence? Preemptive? Some one explain this to me.
Media this, media that. "We're in Iraq for oil." "We're in Iraq to avenge those lost during 9/11." "We're in Iraq to bring democracy." You know, no one really knows why we're there, it seems. If it really was some noble attempt to remove a tyrant, why Iraq? There are nations around the world where innocents are being killed left and right, so why choose Iraq? If it was for the September 11th attacks, why didn't we follow through with the "You don't mess with Texas" rhetoric of GW and retrieve Osama before we pulled a bulk of our troops out of Afghanistan to liberate Iraq? A place where there were no real ties to Al Qaeda. If it was for oil, then why aren't we seeing a major benefit from the occupation of Iraq? Truth is, the American public doesn't know for sure. But I'd hardly say they died for nothing. I won't say they were there fighting to keep us free. You know? Fighting over there so we won't have to fight them here? Never that.bigdcstile

You won't since the 8600GTS requires a 6pin connector which your powersupply won't have

I don't mean to hijack the thread here, but what kind a wattage would be adequate to run that 8600GTS? If I can get that card to run on my 300W PSU, I'd be very happy.
I love me some virtual football, so it's hard to fight the yearly Madden bug. I gave in this year, after buying last year, but not for 06 or 07. I'm not ashamed of that, I'm more dissapointed in the bugs I've found. It's a much less stable game that last year. Now that's a rip.
The game has yet to freeze up on me, but I've already seen a fair share of glitches in-game. The AI is constantly running straight out of bounds after dump offs for the flats. Challenges are just bat **** crazy. I've challenged two obviously bad calls and both were upheld, with one being treated as if the offense called the challenge. And the only two penalties that I've seen were against me...both after 3rd and long conversions...both holding calls. What gives?
