Im A Big Fan, I Pre-Orderd 2 Copies Of Part 3, One For My Gameing Rig and One For A DED-Server Because I Usualy Host LAN Parties. Add Three More Copies That My Friends Buy On Them Selves. I Canceled My Orders Because EA Is NOT Supporting Vista 64 Bit. If Im Not Going To Play, Then My Buddies Arn't Proabliy Going To Play Either. (lan multiplayer is everything to us) I Used The Torrents To Try The Game Before Buying It. With 1.03 Patch, Game Runs Flawlessly. I Got Thinking. Why Would EA Do That? Specificly Go Out Of Their Way To Say It Won't Work When Clearly It does. Awwww. Thats Right Nvidia Is Slow Getting On the Vista Banwagen. mhhhhh. If You Have The Hardware & Proper Drivers For Vista, You Won't Have Any Problems Running This Game. On XP. The DED-Server Is A 478 2.4GHz Radeon 1600XT, 1GB DC DDR1 RAM & Last Summers Catalyst Drivers. On Medium-Low, The Game Ran Awsome, Thats A Full Screen Of Shooting, Blowing Up & Anamation. Al Of These Setting Above Are A Waist Of Time. Every Computer Is Different, Every Way Of Setting Up A Computer Is Different.. YOU must try Different Settings To Get The Smothest Preformance. HINT: Get A Big Game Running & Save Ii, Then Load That Save Point When Trying New Settings To REALLY See the Difference. I Hate You EA, But Ill Keep Buying Your Games....
This Is An Upgraded Engine Of Command & Conquer Generals. If You Can Play That, You Can Play This. Im Empressed With Some Of The Explosions **flame throwers=Awsome** I Played This Game Perfectly With My 1 & 3 Year Old PCs Perfectly. Honestly, & Not Rudely, If You Can't Run This Game, You Proabibly Arn't Running Any PC Game Right Now, So ....
I Run An Asus 850 XTPE (AGP!) And As Long As I Have The Shadows Disabled & View Distance @ 270, I Run Over 35 fps With Full Screen Action & Effects Going On. I Think This Game Looks Good Especially With The Magic Effects. I Don't Understand Why Everyone Is Saying It Dosn't Look Good & Is Haveing Trouble. (I Agree They Should Have Beta-Tested It Better)
