Let the game speak for itself. You haven't played it and have no idea how they're putting the roster to use and what other modes and goodies they packed in the stead of a massive character roster.

There have only been about 4 Call of Duty games to be released so far that are heavily popular. There have been just about the same amount of Need for Speed games, yet you don't complain about those? The problem I think you're having is the overhype that these games have. Just because a series has a huge fanbase doesn't make it the standard of gaming and it doesn't give a face to the gaming market. Sounds like you need to do a little bit more exploring than just FPS freaks. Try getting into the RPG community, or even the rhythm gaming community.

And now for my personal pride and joy..

I got that Pikachu on my very first Cave playthrough with only about two or three Pester Balls. Just tossed a few out, heard Pikachu give out the little cry, then whattaya know, he comes flying across on balloons. I remember playing Cave a million times as a kid just to get this picture. I played it a few months ago and I got it within 3 minutes. Hell yeah.

Yeah I understand you on that one. Don't worry about what that guy is saying. Usually hardcore fighting game fans (particularly on the Wii) enjoy using the GCN Controller since it is easier to pull some extreme combos/button inputs. The best example of this is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

But casually, it's whatever is easiest for you. :D

Ok, so I am looking into getting Monster Hunter Tri, but I am really researching it to make sure it will be worth it (a bit tight on money for videogames). So, is it worth it? How's the online? Any insufferable lag? How many hours am I looking at until I'm uninterested?

Any information or first hand experience is more than welcome.
