For a single player game to not be playable because of an internet connection problem is like not being able to use your flashlight in your house when the power has gone out. One should not affect the other. MS is feeding a line of BS to its customers.
There are different ways for companies to stay relevant against its competition. Differentiation is one of them. Nintendo may be smart in taking this approach because it clearly cannot compete graphics-wise with the XBOX or Playstation. To some degree, it worked in their favor with the Wii. Without the Wii, I doubt there would be a Kinect or, probably more directly, a Playstation Move. I think it's wise of Nintendo to acknowledge that they cannot compete in that way with Microsoft and Sony.
What does it matter how the relationships evolved when all the Mass Effect Relays were destroyed and communications/travel to other systems in the galaxy is impossible? That's my biggest complaint! The Geth and Quarians get along, but they cannot communicate outside of the systems. The Turians and Krogan are finally getting along, but cannot travel outside of their planets. La-de-freakin-dah! It's like the entire galaxy was blown back to the Stone Age! Ending would have been fine if they did not destroy the connections between all the races and the entire galaxy. Grr! Still frustrated by this game's ending! #deadhorse
I would totally be interested in seeing this. I like the game, but an advantage the movie would have over the game would better gaming controls and a camera that doesn't screw up and give sh!##y angles of the action! I love the game, but those controls suck!
I feel like this generation hasn't even maxed out the capabilities of the current console. Why do we even need a new console at this point? With games like Uncharted, Mass Effect, L.A. Noire, and Bioshock, I don't see the need to release a new system yet. Everything coming out for these consoles (at least 360 and PS3) is a great improvement from the previous year. Am I alone here?
