I fail to see how paying monthly for something that one can play on and on and on for that gets new content is exploiting, or at least any more exploiting than any other product.

Although I strongly disagree with the UK, Ireland, Australia banning it, as I do not think that government should ban (or regulate media), the ESRB (which has no legal force behind it - non governmental industry board) giving it an AO rating, and companies deciding on their own, that they do not wish to license the game for their systems, is exactly the way it should work.

As a consumer I have no inherent right to media, and as long as its not the government deciding I can't do something, but companies deciding that they do not wish to sell it, I'm a-OK with it. (Well I may wish personally that they didn't, but I'm A-OK with it in terms of a company deciding what they want to do with their own products)

The point of having an AO rating for consoles is to set a bar at a certain level for what they find acceptable for their console systems

Personally I bet they will tone it down, then release an uncensored version of it for the PC (or perhaps both)

If you havn'talready played Halo 2, and you alread have Vista, then yes. its a fun game, and its usually only 37.99 or less, so its a decent deal, I'd recommend it.

This is something that makes me very angry, as gamers and the actual people paying the majority into this industry we should be insulted - deeply - by the PR these corporations are pushing.  The majority of us who love games and the surrounding culture have real world jobs and spend a very large portion of our meagre income on their product.  I do not give a damn who these supposedly important people are but I am damn sure the majority of them care nearly nothing for these 'trinkets' they get for showing up, paid.

The whole show of games and movies being as one is a sham.  A lot of us do not prey to the television gods nearly so much as the generations before us and having to watch hordes of these plastic people trotted out and handed the products we strive to own is akin to just pissing on our doorsteps with a glowing smile, hand out waiting for us to pay for it.

I hate you, Hollywood.  I hate your television world with all your self loving cookie-cutter people.  And I want you to go far, far away.

nailerr

The actual people paying for the industry falls for crap like this, dont hate the Industry, if anyones to blame its us.

I've never understood why celebrities get all this free stuff.  I'm hearing a few people say they're having problems getting an elite, and celebrities are getting free ones.... :roll:JustPlainLucas
Its free advertising. Celebrities will get seen, photographed, and associated with said device. Same reason they pay celebrities to appear in commericals, except this is cheaper, and probalby more effective Genius really

I'd love to see some world war II games in the Eastern theatre, (Russia) or between China and Japan, or even Pacific between US and Japan that is ground (not naval/air)

Theres been a few games that have parts of eastern front (Call of Duty) but its a pretty neglected area.

Its pretty fun, although its not spectacular; maybe its just that i've never been into sneakershooters, my two main complaints are:

1: Spawning system - guys just appear, seemingly without rhyme or reason, and makes for a lot or repetive reclearing/sneaking

2: Lack of ammo on guys/ unable to unload ammo from weapons. - most guys seem to have a few rounds in their weapon (which either you cant get, or i dont know how , short of using the weapon) and usually .75 - 1.5 clips of ammo spare (gennerally extra pistol ammo, not so much SMG/Rifle types ammo. I've tended to use my pistol a lot simply because i run out of ammo too quickly with other guns (espcially if shooting at distance)

As with any product, vote with your dollars, or lack thereof.

As for me, I'll be buying it.

Whether or not it came out three years ago for xbox is illrelevant to me, because its new to me.

Graphics don't look like they are Crysis level, but they look as good as pretty much any other FPS on the market IMO.
