Btw I wanted to add that you actually didn't control the fights, I guess they were stat based or something.

Nope it's not HOMM. I've tried searching but I just can't find it. :(

As a kid I saw my friend play this game a couple of times and I just can't remember the name of the game. It was 2D and turn-based, it had many different characters, like a fire and water woman, vampire etc, I just can't remember but there were quite many different ones.

You would move around the map from castle to castle I guess and once you reached the castle you would get this screen with two parties (yours and the castles I suppose) and then the one who won got the castle or smth like that.

I'd really love to find and play this game myself, so please, if you have any idea, please share it with me.
