If you are looking for an old fashion mmo with great story play SWtOR, or if you are looking for a new freestlye/dodgy combatstyle mmo with great pvp and rewards your fast reactions play GW2. Right now ESO is just a medicore mmo, and needs to be polished at least 1 year before it becomes okay.
Leveling is fun, quest system is realy good, but I didnt like its WvW and end game pve, with being able to dodge attacks all you need to do keep dodgeing bosses and smashing their skull with your 3-5 buttons, swaping weapons a cool ability and I would like to see that ability in future mmos. You cant filter armor at AH as heavy/medium/light this becomes realy annoying from time to time and inctance owner system is realy game killer for me, when inctance owner get dc and leave party all your progress lost, everyone else gets a kick out of inctance by game... And community is too cold to each other and many people using foul language, playing mmos since 10 years but didnt see like this one.
fps video games can make you a better shooter, well at least I experianced that personaly myself, last year at my military training I did realy good scores at shooting exams while I never touched a real gun before, and I accomplished a top score, actually it is no surprise, these kind of games makes you more familiars with fireguns teachs you how to aim, how to control your breath and many other things, even you dont realize you are learning all these while playing a game, it is in your subconsciousness. I think yes, video games trains you to kill.
I started to play D3 1 week ago, and lvl 53 now, and can say bigest downside of this game is AH. Almost never used a drop item since lvl 10-13, why would I while I can get better items for almost no cost from AH... that is lowering game experiance alot for me and I'm started to get bored. I did play D2 for 3 years, but D3 doesn't give me that enjoyment due to AH which makes loot part of the game meaningless.
man it is not about happy or unhappy ending, there is alot of nonsense at end and unlogical things that doesnt make sense however you think about it (no I'm not talking Sci-Fi stuff, I'm talking about these plotholes... you see someone nearby then poof! he comes out of a ship somewhere in galaxy...)
@MamaLukuBuku : there was lvl50s at our server before game release mate at early access period, it doesnt take much time to reach 50 if you skip conversations (especially it is boring to listen same conversation when playing with alts, you mostly just spam spacebar...)
there is too much bugs and problems in this game, most important one is ability delay and UI bugs, they are realy gamebreaking and I dont see much significant improvement with this update, also endgame is just joke, you dont need any skill to complate these flashpoints even hard modes just need some better gear to complate no challange at all, even we complated eternity vault at our first run in 5 hours with some pug players... leveling was fun and awesome but it is an mmo after all and it only gives a broken endgame experiance with full of bugs and I dont think it will get fixed any near future
gamespot will give 9-9,5 to this game, it is best mmo I have ever seen, and the hardest one, dont make some people who played game for first few level to fool you by saying "It is too easy", game keep getting harder and harder with each lvl, I'm lvl 40 atm and every fight is challanging.
