@jenovaschilld: How am I wrong? Don't make a vague statement as Microsoft likes to do; spell it out. If I want a hug, i will get it from someone I love, but thank you for the offer.

@sladakrobot: Listen ignorant creature: shareholders are contacted directly or via financial websites, not gaming websites. Fanboy is the whore of your mother you fucking ****. Also, mother fucker, I hate when cocksuckers like you come here to promote or defend companies that do deceptive marketing, illegal behavior, forceful advertising and much more, which are proven facts and well known by millions of people throughout the entire planet. I cannot know for sure if you are being paid or if you are completely insane to come here and defend Microsoft with such passion, but one thing I know: you are pathetic.

Microsoft had the bad sense of saying Halo 5 made $400 million in global sales, but it then says that it does not share numbers of the game. Does this make any sense?! Ha ha ha. They have no idea what they are doing or they do and every little detail they say is shrouded in mystery so that they can pretend all they want. If they have the audacity to make such a bold statement, why not release all numbers if indeed they are so awesome as they claim? I tell you why: because all they say is to make people believe whatever they want. If they had such incredible numbers, they would say so with exact numbers. For one that has no problem in gloating, this makes no sense. I hate these liars who think they can manipulate us into believing anything they want for the sake of sales.

@angrycreep: There is a basic law in economy called the law of supply and demand. When there is a high demand for a product, the supply increases/maintains the price of the product, but when there is a low demand for a product, the supply reduces the price of the product. The demand represents the consumers and the supply represents the producers. This law applies to everything in life, not just economy, as a side note. Therefore, there is a low demand for halo 5 products, especially because it was released a while ago. When there is a big reduction of price, the demand is very low. Since the price was reduced from $250 to $100, the demand for halo 5 products is ultra low.

That is a ridiculous question and answer. Of course, the xbone will not be the last ms console. It is a computer, so it must be replaced by another computer that can support the evolution of the other gaming technologies. It is already a completely outdated computer.

@csward: That is not the end of it. When they give a vague number like 400 million and do not disclose exactly how the number was achieved, it only has one purpose: marketing. The concept is simple, actually. When a company (Microsoft/343) asks another third party company (GS) to release a vague number of sales concerning a specific game, the first has only one purpose, considering there is no other reason why they would do this, which is: to make people think that the game is selling well. By making people think that the game is selling well, they know this will help increase sales since non-intelligent people will associate the good sales with a quality game, and start thinking of buying it too. This is psychological marketing 101, and Microsoft has some very good professionals for this. Another reason is to make their clients (those who bought the game) feel like they made a great buy, to make them experience a positive feeling, one that will influence them to talk about it and share it with others. There are many other reasons, but they all lead up to just one: making more sales. Still, this is deceptive marketing at its worst. The reason for this classification is quite simple: they gave a vague number.

Why is it vague? For many reasons. Are console sales included? Are digital sales included? Are retail sales included? Et cetera.

Half of the 400 million vague number may refer to the sale of the game to retailers. This does not mean that the game was sold to actual gamers. It just means that retailers invested in the game. Considering all the highly deceptive marketing campaigns that Microsoft has made for months about halo 5, which we all know about it, retailers obviously thought that this would be a great investment, so they bought a considerable number of xbones and halo 5 discs. It is possible that this game had good sales, but the opposite is just as likely.

The vague number of 400 million means nothing; absolutely nothing.

@nomailx: I have an average laptop for work that I also use for gaming, and it has not burned anything whatsoever. I played Far Cry 3 for many months before changing the CPU paste and cleaning the vents. It is an HP Pavillion dv7 Notebook PC, Intel Core i7 CPU, 1.6 GHz with 6 GB of RAM. I do know that some laptops do burn in the same conditions, but it only happens if they have bad components or the hardware is just not good as advertised.

@sodapoppimpski: I think you are confusing me, SodApOpPIMPski. I was calm when I published the above message, and I still am calm after reading your highly constructive message. Still, if required, I have plenty of reasons to be angry with Microsoft; but I am not.

Why so happy with Microsoft? It will be ok.

With $3,200 I can build 2 awesome PCs, perhaps 3, or buy several iPads, or buy a reasonable used car. This is obviously catering rich idiots, and even then, it would be a hard sale I think.
