I draw a bit and I really love the style of Yoji Shinkawa the concept artist for Metal Gear Solid.
I cant find any tutorials on how to pull off his look and Ive tried to replicate it, but its quite hard. Any help would be great, or at least tips?

Thanks BradHummr! Suprised not more responses I thought for sure there would be maybe not a heated debate but at least some slight discussion on the topic... I agree with you I wasnt exactly horrified, haha, but I was quite suprised that Half Life didnt have aiming down the sights (mods have since fixed this, I have yet to play them though) but I also ended up not even noticing. I think games like HL and Halo could actually benefit from aiming down the sights, especially half life since it seems to feed off immersion/atmosphere at least in my opinion (no cutscenes, general atmosphere, things of that sort.) And at times Half Life can be decently intense so I think aiming down the sights could actually be a nice touch. As for feet I really dont care at all, half the time I dont even notice when I do have feet, and like others have said it does add to atmosphere, but I would rather the time the devs spend adding feet be spent on making the game funner or the gunplay funner.

Can either of these make or break a game for you? Aiming down the sights (unless it just doenst fit for some odd reason) usually is a requirement for any new games for me, unless they have amazing gameplay/story to make up for it. And seeing my feet really doesnt bother me much, im fine without it.

Civilization 5 - Great Turn based strategy with amazing gameplay and good graphics Dawn of War 2 - Very good RTS, with great online play + intense battles. Also recommend Starcraft 2, on what people have been telling me - dont own the game yet :P But really depends on what you like - give me more of an idea of what genre your looking for and ill post back :) Good luckDN13x
I like a bit of everything but mainly fps's, horror, games with general good atmosphere (STALKER and Half Life 2) , some point and click type games (fallout, baldurs gate). Things like that. And thanks!

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but if you mean guns that would realistically be found in a city I'd say small handguns, hunting rifles, and hunting shotguns.

Yeah, everyone seems to not get what the question is, Ill edit it.

No if you go to a town you probably wouldn't just find Ak47's and M16's but think about it, the wrold is burning down and is overrun by zombies, the army had to have tried to stop the zombies at some point. So if there were some resistance that set up these pre-built safe houses mabey a marine or someone left a gun behind.

True, you could maybe find certain guns off gangsters and dead military.

Lots of the ones Id pick are already stated, Id add Half Life 2 (as well as episode 1&2) the writing is simply exceptional.

Why couldn't the player character in this game have been a gun owner prior to the apocalypse? It isn't uncommon. Plenty of people I know own firearms of some sort.

That is true, most games start you out with a little 9mm then you slowly gain more powerful guns. Kind of weird.
