I have given up on Gamespot. No longer will I spend almost an hour a day cruising these forums. My life is no better for it. I could be doing something much more productive.

So this is a farewell thread, gentlemen. I am changing the password on my account to gibberish that I won't remember, because I think if I get a mod to ban me I can still create a new account from my email address.

But this thread really isn't about me. It's actually a thread where everyone can talk about why they come to Gamespot and what they get out of it. So please fire away.

Honestly, I think Gamespot OT is more of a life-waster than Facebook is.

Sometimes I go onto Facebook to post videos I find on places like Gamespot, so my friends can see it as well. And when I feel like ranting I use Facebook Notes like a blog. And it's handy for organizing events in which more than 5 people will attend. As far as I'm concerned, that's what social networking sites should be used for. None of this "Farmville" crap.

work harder with what? The only way music can help me work harder is when the work entails going to the gym. In which case, it's either thrash metal or upbeat techno.

[QUOTE="Sajedene"][QUOTE="Gallego"]I too got it when I was 18. Back then I waited because it was easier to get it once you turn 18. I didn't have to do any school instructions or anything, plus no restrictions once I passed. I do recommend you get a paid instructor for at least 4 hours of experience. Its gonna help you, a lot!

Unless you get a perv of an instructor

oh please, do tell :P

One monitor on top of the other. And yes, I don't like desktop icons to ruin my pretty backgrounds! :x

get your licence man. if you posted on gamespot a bit less, you could have it by now haha

Driving's expensive. And if you live in a big city, also unnecessary.

[QUOTE="Luncbox1"]a fish from my fishtank. It wasn't just any ordinary fish... it was a $1000 fish!!! It died, so we had to cut it up and flush it down the toilet, because it was far too big for the U-bend while still intact.Rob0_Jesus

Thats such a pretty fish. Sorry to hear what happened. :( Instead of flushing it, why not just eat it? I think it'd have liked to go that way.

No, you wouldn't want to eat that thing the way we found it. It was wedged behind the pump for about 3 or 4 days. It was decaying and rotting... it was gross :?

And we've had the tank for about 15 years, and fish only last a few years each. But yeah, that was definitely the most expensive one we ever had.

I don't see an issue. When I'm 50 years old I don't see how I would stop finding 16 year old girls attractive. The trick is to never let anyone know about it
