Just out of curiosity. The genre has been fairly absent since the late 90's with the x-wing games and freespace 2, there are a few mods around at the moment but nothing really official. Just wondering if i'm alone in this regard or not.

Would you get back into the genre if something decent was released? Thoughts and ideas welcome
