I just got my ps3 yesterday, and I made a PSN account last night but I came up with a weird name that I remember from a book because I couldn't think of a good name so I'd like to change it, can you or do you have to make another account. If i have to make another, how do I do that because I can't see any options to in account managment. I wonder do you have to make another profile to make another PSN account? Please help.

YES! It worked, gd man! Thanks, only thing now is the funny audio. I don't know if I mentioned it but it's constantly buzzing on the main menu, I have the audio set to audio input connector/ scart/ av multi, now, and the audio pins plugged intot he Pc ports liek you suggested, still doing it. Although because it only seems to be on the menu, it's not that important and I don't want to keep you on this topic all night lol.

Another question I have, sorry lol, just trying to work out what things are right and so on, I get very worried about new technology brought into the house. Yes, is the ps3 supposed to be quite warm at the bottom right around and below the POWER on/off light and disk drive? And if it's quite warm at the back does that matter? I think that my TV is just like yours then, ok so I have to have an hdmi > dvi cable for hd with my tv, I unstand that I just think it's a bit funny the way the AV cable has 6 pins like an HD cable, with red, green, blue and red, white and white/yellow yet it's an AV cable really and can't give me HD.

Is this the wrong forum or something, come on...
