All I know is I am pretty pissed so far with this single player requiring an internet connection. Having to quit a SINGLEPLAYER game because the servers are coming down for maintenance is the most absurd thing I have seen in gaming. You should only require the connection upon login to start the game up, after that set us free. I am in a hotel on a **** connection and cannot play mulitplayer anything, all I have is single player. If this becomes some pc gaming norm it will be a tragedy.

I agree. I hate having a required internet connection to play a single player game.

I can't seem to get my e8400 higher than 3.5. It's not unlocked so that's probably my problem. If I take mine to 3.6 I get an error in prime 95.

Only thing I've changed is my cpu frequency. Voltages are in auto and I can't manually change them. I have a good cooler so temps are fine @ 3.5

Took them long enough. Even though they make a new COD like every 6 months and they are the same as the last COD.

I need a budget yet good gfx card, because my 9600GT is not always enough.

important note: I don't care about maxing games out

thanks!

Gtx 550 Ti. I only paid 150.00 for it and it runs everything. I just need a new cpu and mobo cause I still have a dual core

Not surprised. Only good thing is it reduces power consumption. Looks like i'm gonna get a sandy bridge cpu in a few months. I'm still on dual core, and it's starting to get slow on high demanding games now.

I have a 21" 60hz monitor and thinking of getting something with a higher hz. Will this give me a better picture? I know plasma tv's have a high rate and they have superior picutre than LCD.

[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]they better have a start menu it's like they made so many improvements with the os, like the startup time, the restore functionality, and then they screw it up with metro lolElann2008
I'm skeptical of Windows 8. I too, I would like the classic start menu.

I think it still does. It's just the main screen will be like a phone or tablet with "apps", and you will have the option to go to windows explorer and other stuff.
