Oh surprise, Nintendo effectively price-raises the standard Switch 4+ years after launch. They always do this sleight of hand crap. Like most of the tech inside a Switch is 5-10 years old but you're *raising* prices for an OLED? (which is also now old lol)
edit: and only keeping Lite is also a gotcha. people who only play on TVs can't buy a Switch Lite -- they'll simply have to overpay for a screen they won't use.
I don't think it's sudden financial trouble. Seems more like NIS was completely naive about PC games only moving units during sales. Now they have to hike MSRP so it can look like they're giving a big discount during sales. It's like the goddamn US healthcare system.
@Atzenkiller: You were categorically shut down in every subsection of the comments here and still came back every time for a meaningless throwaway 'last word'
@Atzenkiller: You are literally mocking people for buying these instead of cheap OLED TVs, then turn around and say "but what kind of idiot buys cheap OLED TVs."
@Atzenkiller:curvature helps keep ultrawides within your field of view, and increases immersion. I have a 35" and could easily see going to 40, maybe 45. But 50" of screen in any shape is gonna be a problem without a really deep desk setup.
