I remember watching Pokemon, Digimon, Recess, some Donkey Kong show, other stuff that I can't remember the name of at the moment. I guess Saturday morning television schedules aren't really important with today's technology, so I'm not upset.

Also, the Soviet Union made an effort to suppress religion, but it still continued anyways along with the unfortunate consequence of religion becoming associated with freedom, human rights, etc.

Have you considered the possibility of religion being a symptom of people not thinking logically rather than a cause?
