I feel like a bit of a dumbass; I just ordered it for pc yesterday. From the sound of it, it should be really impressive. I'll probably end up buying that one if the promise of the greatly improved combat system is true.
Far Cry 2. Resistance 1 was an average shooter. Far Cry was an awesome shooter, and FC 2 looks like its raising the bar, looks really innovative and fun. hillelslovak
Well, Far Cry 1 was made by Crytek; Far Cry 2 is made by Ubisoft, so it's not extremely accurate to base how good one game will based on its predecessor when it came from a different dev group. I'm of the opinion that Ubisoft has to some extent raped Far Cry rather badly, so I feel it's sorta wrong to go encouraging them after what they've done with it in previous instances.
If you mean that you create a new psn account, and purchase something on there, and then let your friends access the account to download one of your purchases, then yes, that works. If that wasn't what you were asking, I'm not quite sure.
One thing you might wanna do, since nobody else seems to have mentioned it, is get a can of compressed air and blow through the vents and stuff, see if that gets anything out. That might help; I haven't experienced that before, so I can't say for sure. How long were you playing for, estimated? And where was the ps3; elevated, on the carpet, in an entertainment center?
I looked around, and apparently there is split-screen co-op, but it goes first person(Graw2 for ps3); I don't know why. Another game came to mind as well. Army of Two has split screen co-op, and if you're playing with someone else, can be quite fun, albeit short.
