@Blaze-agent:
GT is the one who is doing the catch up. They don't have tire deformation, dont have a livery system, and doesn't have custom multiplayer gamemodes. Progress seems more steady in Forza.

GT's extra features: weather, more racers etc. are seen before in alot of other racers. Therefor they are nothing new.

And Forza and GT are almost running the same resolution
GT= 960x1080 = 1,036,800pixels
Forza= 1280x720 = 921,600pixels

Sorry to say but DX just got better then openGL years ago. Microsoft has always delivered excellent tools for developers, which is one of their biggest strenghts.

And talking about FUD, don't you remember the hype for PS2 and PS3. Sony's talk was SO much over the top and some statements were even bald lies. The hype for PS2 alone killed the Sega Dreamcast.

While Sony did alot of good to consol gaming with PS1, MS has made alot more strives to keep things rolling with their consoles then sony has with PS2 (simply a faster machine then its predecessor with dvd-drive) and PS3 (faster machine again, with borrowed ideas from their competitor). While I wouldn't want any competitor to leave the marked, I would say that after PS1 Sony would be the easiest to live without.

How is it an edge if all other online services before DIDN'T charge for online? M$ was the first ever to rip off consumers so shamely with that, Sony probably didn't even considered it before since it was only logical not to charge consumers for online since they already pay for it to their respective internet service providers. You make it sound like without M$ in the picture everybody would be charging for online when it was with M$ that such a ridiculous thing came to be.kuraimen
You haven't already payed for neither PSN of XBL. They run a giant server/hosting/matchmaking system, and they haven't got nothing to do with your internet provider. How long have you been gaming? There have been many instances of paying to play online. Early gamespy comes to mind. Even though the endproduct doesn't resemble an MMO, the working of Sonys and MS' service does compare somewhat to it, and you pay for the service of an MMO. And Sony didn't charge for online in PS2 era, because they didn't have a central serer system, every online game was hosted by the publisher. Sony would like to charge for PSN, but can't because they were forced to go free in the beginning, and now people expect it (plus it's been a selling point for them).

Still looking forward to the game none the less :-)

I love my 360, but I don't see the point of this thread. Yes, we have alot of good stuff to look forward too, but so does the PS3 people, which 360 exclusive guys are gonna miss too. So fanboys miss out would be the REAL topic.

Final Fantasy

The problem: They are just too "japanise". The dialog hurts my ears, the story hurts my head. They are both too childish for me. I'm know trying to act all grownup of tough, but it's almost like watching teletoppies. And the gameplay is right out boring. Too repetitiv and slowpaced. Focuses too heavily on grinding. This is a problem I have with all JRPG's, and yes I have given more then a few the benefit of a doubt. But of the once i have tried, FF is the only AAA franchise.

Who the F*** cares anyways? thisi sn't MGS. period. Konami only made this so that Xbox 360 fanboys would finally think MGS is coming to the 360. the true MGS will never be in the 360. i hope no one buys this game. not made by Kojima's team, not directed, produced, and written by Kojima. made by American developers who have no idea what MGS is all about. it's like playing those Spyro games not made by Insomniac. or those Jak & Daxter games not made by Naughty Dog. those kinda games

Oh, so you mean the gameplay might actually be good? :-P

I can see both of your points boba_fett and leeveeu. The quick scene cuts were chosen because it look really good to keep the papir moveing, because it gave the movie a nice flow. It was a compromise however, because we had first imagined that the people would sit in their own setting, and then the papir/dialog would interrupt them in their solitude.

That would correspond (spelling) with other feedback we have been getting. Some people miss a stronger connection between the atmosphere were are trying to create, and the city we are trying to promote (Aarhus), which might be due to the quick pacing and no use of total shots (a camera shot further away, so you see the whole set). But it's a delicate balance, as you might imagine, because the viewer isn't supposed to get bored and stop watching.

I think the transitions between frames are sometimes too abrupt.leeveeu
Do you mean the transition between each angle, or just the transition between each scene/location? Is the flow of the movie a bit too fast?
